CSP Grant Project Director
JOB INFORMATION
Salary Range $55,000-$100,000
The Grant Project Director is responsible for planning, leading, coordinating, and enhancing the implementation and evaluation of the CSP grant. This role requires a deep understanding of federal and state education laws, and a comprehensive grasp of project management and compliance with federal regulations. The Grant Project Director is also responsible for strategic planning and implementation, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement and communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise all technical assistance activities and monitor all subgrantee implementation for programmatic accountability.
- Oversee scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of the grant.
- Direct and oversee the planning, development, and implementation of grant projects.
- Provide constructive and timely evaluations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address project needs and opportunities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing grant activities.
- Develop and implement processes to track and report on grant compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to grant guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Review the subgrantee’s annual budget proposals.
- Travel as required.
- Effectively train, direct, supervise, motivate, and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. Facilitate effective staff meetings and group discussions and involve staff in idea generation, goal setting, and decision making.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent work experience and 5 years minimum experience managing project implementations. Desired experience in grant management, particularly in federal grant management.
Terms of Employment: Twelve Month Position in Accordance with Negotiated Contract. The Alabama Public Charter School Commission is a non-merit state agency.
